My Claim to Fame???

Hello!!!! Once again slacking on the ole' blog :( Bummer... I guess it's who I am. Everyone is surviving the looooongest winter EVER!!!!! Not happy about it, but surviving. A warm sunny day is much needed. Ooooh, before I forget, a new word or two under the "never want to forget" catagory..."Buckalope"="Buffalo"(Landyn) love!!! "Moothie"="Smoothie"(Landyn)delight!!! I guess Lukie is such a great talker by now he might not have much on the list :)

Ok...Big news for me!!!!!! I have been making these pretty flowers that are brooches/hairclips/headbands...and they have really taken off..who knew? I was approached by the Lillian's shoppe to submit them to headquarters. Well, next thing you know they Love them and I will be selling by designs in the Lillian's Shoppes. YaYYYYYYYYYY! I think there are almost 40 shops in the U.S. This is a pretty huge deal for me!!! Thank goodness my husband is my right hand man & he never complains...well, maybe sometimes. But non-the-less, Big News!!! You'll have to check them out!

Other than that, we are just plugging along. Awaiting the end of school & the start of summer! Bring it. Hoping everyone is well!

To all of you fellow Mommies....ENJOY!....
..SO, the other morning Lukas and I were snuggled under the covers on the couch watching Little Bear and he started poking around and Funny enough he poked my boob :) Which was then followed by the "private part" talk. Well, Luke has always been fascinated with the idea of breast feeding so this hole conversation switched gears...(read on)...

Luke~ "so Momma, I was fed from your boob." Me~ "yes you were" Luke~ "and Lanny was too" Me~ "yes he was" Luke~ "well........then CathyJo has 4 babies...why doesn't she have 4 boobs?" Me~ "ummmmm, wanna pop tart Buddy?"

..Okay, so CathyJo is a friend of ours that has 2 sets of twins and therefore she should have the equivalent amount of  well, you know...BooBs :)) Amazing how these kids try to figure things out. It only makes perfect sense!

WoW! 2010 is on it's way out and make way for a Fantastic 2011!
We feel so blessed as this year comes to a close. We definitely had our ups and downs, but you learn and grow as you become what you should be. Lar's job is going wonderful (amen). He enjoys every day that he is there. My job is not even a job...I should pay my clients (kidding) to let me do their hair. I just adore what I do. I am one lucky ducky :) The boys are wonderful..Luke is on Christmas break, Landyn is just on break. They are so hilarious. Lukas is really gaining an attitude which is really kinda cute and funny right now, but I tell ya if it keeps up we won't be laughing. Lanny is such a honey, so lovey...to his Momma :))) I.LOVE.
Anyway, I am preparing for a funfilled getaway with a girlfriend in February. We are headed to Mexico..PV! Can not wait. Overdue. I will miss my men soooooo much, but I think it is a needed trip. The winter blues hit hard. Lar is gonna be a busy Daddy, but he is so good at it. I'm sure Grandma & Grandpa won't be too far away.
Lar is already saving his vaca for deer hunting next fall...ish. He loves it. Someday we will get away together.

Since I have Waaay too many interests/hobbies, I thought I would give myself a name. I don't think I will go anywhere with this, but I do enjoy what I do and I think I deserve a logo :)
My interest/hobby of the day today was giving the boys haircuts!!! Wow...it is tricky. They really did awesome! This is not normal. Awesome is the last word I would use to describe how they do for haircuts, but today was "awesome". We had Jack Black on YoGabbaGabba rolling and it was genious! Thanks Jack :)
Anyway, excited about my logo. That's all. Enjoy your week everyone!

.a tanner holiday underway.

~Greetings~

What a wonderful holiday season it has been thus far. I hope everyone else is enjoying it as much as the Tanners. We have been over~joyed and feeling quite blessed this late fall. Lar was offered a position with Lake States Tree Service in GR as their HR/Safety manager. He is taking a lot under his wing with this job, but so far he is really enjoying the people & the position. YaY! Momma's happy :)


The boys have been really making major strides and as for myself, well, I am proud. Bittersweet...let me explain...How awesome: the boys graduated into a bunkbed!!! F.U.N. What this means is that Landyn~aka~"the baby" is now in a big boy bed. *tear* He LOVES it. Momma cried :( What is wrong with me? Lar says this is normal and probably every Mom does this or something similar when they realize this could be their last child. AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH! WHHAAAAAAAAAA! I don't like it...not one bit. Oh come on, don't let me fool you, I am prouder than a darn peacock. Packing away all the robin's egg blue, minty green, and soft buttery yellow tones was hard, but now we have big boy blue, T-rex green, and fire-y yellow. It all works out.


Anyway, now that I have wailed AGAIN, I hope everyone has a splendid Holiday filled with glitter and sprinkles of LOVE!
