Welcome Fall!!!

We love the smells, colors, refreshing/crisp air..you name it, we Love it! I am so pleased with the advances we have made around our home/land. Wow~ lotsa work, but man, it is lookin' good! The boys have sooooo much fun out here. {mom & dad too} It is a blast. I have taken up a little bit of love for flowers. I have dabbled a bit in a few things...shrubs/perrenials/annuals...let's just pray they come up next year ... perrenials that is :)

"We" are in the process of putting up a shed. As we speak actually...you can see I am a big help :} Anyway, I am super excited about our next addition: a stone woodburning fireplace :))) We are gonna be WARM!!! Photos to come. OOh, I better go help out here, or make dinner...Happy Labor Day*

CrossLake Camping 2010

Ahhhhh....what a fantastic weekend. Weather was finally a treat! We enjoy our camping trips with Grandma & Grandpa at Cross Lake. The boys have a great time! We were a bit worried as to how much fun it would be...the boys in the family were all sick :( Landyn ended up with hand, foot & mouth along with the flu, Luke had the mouth portion and flu, and Lar had the flu and now has the mouth portion. Oh my oh my. I just went to work and escaped the worst of it I think! Needless to say, everyone is definitely on the mend. We sure enjoyed ice cream, fun shops, good restaurants, and celebrated G&G's Anniversary. We will be heading out again this Friday-Monday. Hopefully nobody is ill! We have too much swimming to do this time..Paul Bunyan is also on the list! It should be a hoot!

My babies aren't really babies anymore :(

What do you do when you're so happy and so sad all at the same time???? I'm pretty sure happiness wins!!! My boys are so spectacular, even though they hate being swaddled, not a fan of onesies, and are embarressed when I stuff them into a Baby Bjorn (jk) I am still AMAZED at how stinkin' cool these kids are! I must say though...baby fever is a burnin', but only time will tell if we add a 3rd punkalunk or not.
Anyway...we had the Big Boy Birthday Bash and they got motorcycles and bikes, Monster trucks...you name it, BOY STUFF! It was awesome. Now we are gearing up for camping season. Should be great! We are ditching the pack n' play for Landyn this year. He gets his very own Buzz Lightyear air mattress. Lukie too of course. We can't have two different ones...oh no! We are excited...Cross Lake here we come!

Spring has Sprung in Spang

Tongue twister for sure! The weather has been delightful!!! WE love outside! The more dirt under the fingernails the better I guess!!
Landyn has been talking so much more lately. He calls Lukie...Dukie (precious) Dada is his favorite though. Especially when there is dirty diaper involved...Yay Me! He is getting too grown up.
Lukie is just such an intellect. His favorite.."well, actually Mom." nice! He is something quite special ;)
Last weekend I went on an outing with my girlfriends. It's an annual or bi-annual event. Much enjoyed! We went to the cities and shopped to0 much, but it was well worth it! I just love the gals. We talked kids, hubs, and cameras..love it!
Work is amaze! Thank you to all who have helped me grow in this new-to-me town! I LOVE you! Lar is busy...loving his new diggs. WE need a weekend together! It seems we always come last...Story of a Mom & Dad's life! Soon enough.

Good thing I have never claimed to be an incredible blogger...life sure gets busy :)

Luke & Landyn are great!!! Growing in every direction it seems by the second. I love it. They are pretty funny. Luke is really into guys, trucks, and markers. Landyn loves whatever Big Brother has and he can take away. Sounds great HUH?!?!?!

I was gone to Fargo for an overnight trip to a hairshow this last weekend so Lar was in charge...anyway, I get home and Luke says, "wow Mom, you were gone forever." I said it was just an overnight Buddy, "well, I forgot how pretty you are Mom." LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! Good job Daddy is doing there!!!!

We are so anxious to be outside these days. I have little men yelling for me as I type to go outside. I guess I should stop and check the weather. See what I mean, Life gets busy! We have trucks to push through dirt and stuff.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS~now back to normal!

I sure hope everyone had a fantastic holiday! We had such a fun time. Still trying to find homes for all of the new treasures...I think a removal of some old treasures might be necessary 1st.

Luke was so lucky to have gotten Spike for Christmas. Wow~ I think I like him A LOT! He is way too cool. If you are not familiar with Spike, he is worth getting to know. Big Red Dino.

Landyn was happy with just about anything. Not a picky fella! He is rather partial to his stuffed Dora & Diego dolls. Neat!

Mom & Dad didn't do too much exchanging this year. Funny thing~we were going through some totes (not yet moved in yet) and there were a bunch of my FAV purses :-)!!!!!!!! It was like the best gift ever! It's all I needed. I think sometimes you need to evaluate what you have and reinvent it.

Last night Grandpa Larry came out to watch the boys so we could go on a date. It was great! We went to the Sawmill for dinner, Home Depot, Walmart, & Target. WOW was it fun! We thought about bowling, but by this time we were Pooped out. Man, we are WILD!

This December we had the most gorgeous snowfall. Pictures posted. It was amazing. Travel was not fun, but it sure was pretty.

Congratulations Lar! We are now the proud owners of too much venison :)
Opener morning he shot 4 pt. which got him pretty pumped up. Then later in the week he shot a 9pt. Man o Man...now he is searching for the "big one". Have fun!

In the meantime, I have had a minor surgery to remove my gallbladder....hallelujiah! I am a new woman! I thought childbirth was easier...epidural and all I guess! So, Luke has been staying at my Mom's and I have been chillin' with Landyn. It's been nice. I took up sewing. That's all I am gonna say until I get some pics on here :)

Back to work on Tuesday. I am really looking forward to that.
